How could I almost forget?!!

How oh how could I almost miss posting on this historic day? I mean, it isn’t like you haven’t all been waiting to hear from me on this day. (I know you have!) Forgive me for posting so late.
Yes, today is a special day. Today is the day someonething very important to me. (And yes, let’s face it, important to everyone someone well, just me.)

(Yes, I know after a year I need to commit to one or the other as far as names go. I am just so indecisive.)

Excuse me while I get mushy, okay? I am taking this time to tell you all something. From the heart.
I can’t believe how much I have gained by having this little ol’ blog. I have met some incredible people over the year! Friends that I will get together with and have our much talked about dinner together. Friends who have sent things to me simply because I mentioned I enjoyed it. Friends who have been there to talk to late into the night when I am in a place where I need someone to talk to and be objective. I have learned how to become a better writer by following the leads of some amazing bloggers. I have met people who have had a big impact on my future as far as getting published goes. In fact, I cannot name one area of my life that has not been touched positively by the amazing people I have met through this blog. (And if you are wondering if I am talking about you, trust me…I am.) I love you guys. I really do! Thanks for being the amazing people you’ve been and for coming back time after time to read this stuff I put up here. It means more to me than I really know how to say. (Which, let’s face it, for a writer, that does kind of suck, ya know.) Anyway, you all ROCK my world! Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
